Privacy Policy
How Get Spotted handles the information you give us while we manage your online visibility and website work.
What we collect
We may collect your name, business details, contact information, website and social links, service areas, account-access status, enquiry details, payment-related references and information you provide for website or visibility work.
How we use it
We use this information to provide the services you request, communicate with you, prepare reports, manage approved business channels, respond to enquiries, improve the service and keep appropriate operational records.
Account access
Where possible we use manager, admin, partner or collaborator access instead of asking for personal passwords. You remain the owner of your accounts.
Service providers
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics, payments, social scheduling, search visibility and related operations. We only share information needed to provide the service.
Free audit and Google connections
For a requested audit we record your business name, email, website and request time. We use these details to provide the audit, prevent abuse and respond about the findings; requesting an audit does not subscribe you to marketing. Public business name, suburb and website may be sent to our AI search provider to discover social profiles. Email addresses and connected Google results are not sent to that AI search.
Google connections are optional and require consent on Google’s screen. Search Console access is read-only. Google Business Profile uses Google’s business-management scope, but the audit only reads locations, reviews and replies. The audit does not change your Google profile or publish replies.
Short-lived Google access tokens are encrypted in secure HttpOnly cookies and expire within one hour. No Google password or refresh token is retained. Google results are returned to your browser rather than saved as a report in our database. Public audit results are held in session storage in your browser tab to preserve them while connecting Google; use Clear results to remove them. Disconnect Google removes local access and attempts revocation; you can also revoke access in your Google account.
Contact us to request removal of your stored audit contact details.
